Dear Madam, It seems yours is not registered. If possible under law get the association registered to create rights in each of member of flat. Thus, you can fight legally.
Dear Client, As per your query, in matters to do with decision-making within your apartment complex, the owner of a 2BHK, holding four flats, would constitute one vote and not four. This is based on the number of unit owners as opposed to the number of flats owned in making decisions unless otherwise specified in the bylaws or association rules for that apartment. In any case, the owner's failure to reside in the apartment does not deprive that owner of a vote if ownership rather than occupancy determines voting rights, generally speaking. Of course, if your association's bylaws specifically covered such a situation, those bylaws would apply. It would be useful at a minimum to refer to registered bylaws or to organize an association in order to clarify how such decisions may be made. Hope this answers your query.
