He has never taken responsibility or earned money for our upbringing and there is constant yelling daily for small matters or even no matter at all. It difficult and suffocating to live and have been living life in survival mode for past 37 years but its no more tolerable for me. i have become very depressive and to an extent that am not able to do my job and am jobless because of that for past one year. The trauma due to his yelling is making me sick daily. I want to understand what all possible steps could I take for the same. Are there any organization where I can reach out for help.
As this is a climate at the residence here father and daughter are having difference of opinion it is the best that you stand financially well off and take some place nearby to stay on rent and if you have an intermediator as a friend you can contact him to sort things between you and your father

Dear Madam, You must stand on your legs financially, first and then chose to stay away from your father. Leave him to his fate. Law is little help to you because he is not insane or medically disable. It has become his fashion to behave like that you people tolerated him all these years. Just ignore him and start your own life with little finance or small job.
