Telegram Fraud
13-12-2024

Someone has done fraud with me through Telegram. He made multiple telegram accounts, someone has helped me unofficially to reach that person digitally. So the fraudster himself called me on Telegram and took the entire responsibility of fraud. But that fraudster claims that police will never be able to reach him physically, because the address he has given to open the bank accounts and address he has given on his addhar card, both are his old address he does not live on those addresses. My question is if police is able to procure his addhar card, but address on addhar card is fake, can police reach him, or is it impossible to reach him?

It is not difficult to reach him. First you will have to file a complaint with your Local Police Station. OLQ has Pan India network and Advocates and as per your income, the fees will be. The BEST EVIDENCE to be produced with the complaint. Normally Police Stations do not take action. Thus after one day, the complaint will have to be made before District Police Supdt. After reasonable time, a private criminal complaint will have to be filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court under Section 175(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. In that, complsinant's presence will be required. After the Magistrate will issue directions, the accused will be traced. But Criminal law do not ensure recovery of money. You will have to file a Civil Recovery Suit. OLQ will be able to safeguard your interests at each stages, with minimum possible fees.
