Hello, Greetings I did a love marriage,with a boy younger to me. My family was not there but my Husband's family was there at my marriage is registered also. After my Marriage when I told my family,they were opposed of it,later they came and behaved as they have accepted us both,but in real they were planning, The reason they want me to get separated from my husband is that he is younger and does not earn much now,but now he is in some profession where he has started doing good. As I was staying in another city and came for exam to my parents house , they forcefully kept me, took my phone and everything and made no contact with my husband and family, and forced me to tell them that I need to think over this relation as once on call I had an argument with my husband. Now my family is beating me ,torchering me and have locked me also,and threaten me also , I feel my family is a narcissistic family And I am scares of them. But I want to go back to my husband I contacted him,and told him the whole story ,he also wants me back, but somewhere his parents have doubts that if my family can for e me to do things..that can do that in future too. So my husband family want me to give police a call that my family has kind of kidnapped me and he says once I do this they will also come with police to rescue. I am scared if I call the police,what if my family manipulates them,as they are very good at it and will make me wrong and will become right themselves. What if I could not escape from my parents house, because of I take this step and anything goes wrong,my family is gonna kill me. Please suggest what should be done.

Dear Madam, If you are not willing to take coersive steps then you will be at lost and your entire future family/marital life may be spoil. Better lodge a complaint with Police and go ahead accordingly.
