Respected Sir/Madam, I am Mahi. I am currently in first year of college. My father's name is Sunil Kumar Gupta but in my 10th and 12th result it's only Sunil Gupta. This happens because during covid only my father went for 10th registration and he is not that educated, he didn't notice the mistake. My college asked for Affidavit because in my other documents it's Sunil Kumar Gupta. I went to my school after my college admission and they show me my Application form of class 1 where my Father's name was Sunil Gupta but the signature was Sunil Kumar Gupta (my father taken help from someone at that time for filling up the form) so my school said it's not their mistake. I want to know what should I do so I will not have problem for governmen job or MBA because getting a rectified result will be so difficult for me cause I can't afford going Delhi again and again. I want is Gazette can be used for name CORRECTION? Is gazette will be enough for name correction? Please help me should I make a Gazette or should always make an affidavit for document verification during MBA or Government Job ?
Dear Client, Based on your question, to resolve this issues in your documents of your father's name discrepancy, the best way to resolve this issues to publish official Gazette notification. Once it published it become official record so in future it would not effect your future academics. Official Gazette Notice is sufficient for document verification and it need not be affidavit multiple times. To publish Gazette Notification you need two passport size photos, collect form for correction of name and an affidavit which explaining your father name discrepancy. Hope this answer help you.
